My SI Vs Tutoring Battle Was an Online BattleThis is an article I wrote when my SI vs Tutoring battle were heating up. These articles are about the battle for which side is winning and what the process is like to get to the point where you can win the battle.My SI vs Tutoring battle started a couple of years ago when my son, who was in third grade at the time, struggled with a subject. We knew there was a problem because he didn't have the knowledge we'd expected him to have, but we couldn't figure out what that problem was. We started looking for a tutor to help him but were told that they weren't available at that time. He was reading more than he could read and he was also not listening at the same rate he should.At that point, it seemed like we were doomed for failure. We would have to let our son continue to learn at his own pace or have him take the child-centered approach. Unfortunately, if we had taken the child-centered approach, my husband would have lost his job. I'll save the discussion of that for another article.My husband and I decided to look into the options of SI and tutoring. When we went to our local college, we found out that SI and tutoring were only offered in certain subjects. They were only available in a handful of subjects, and they had to be customized. And finally, there were a limited number of classrooms that allowed these types of programs.When we tried to find an alternative to SI and tutoring, we found that there weren't any other programs which could help us. Some people did offer independent study sessions, but we had never really considered that option. So, it wasn't until recently that we started considering online programs.An online learning program is ideal for any parent who doesn't want to deal with the scheduling and other logistical details of a traditional classroom. Plus, it also allows parents to teach their children from home. The online program will usually include at least one instructor, which means the parent won't need to go to school or to work to help their child learn.There are benefits to both programs, but it seems that online tutoring is becoming more popular due to the lack of costs associated with it. It is also a lot more convenient and a lot less expensive than traditional tutoring. You can choose the program that works best for your family and your child's needs.It seems that I was wrong about my struggle with SI and tutoring. Since I was more interested in finding a way to help my son in his struggles with the subject rather than to lose my job over it, I ended up opting for online tutoring. Using the formula: Mass of Fe2O3 = 159.69 x 9 = 1437.21 grams. 3) Calculate how many number of moles of H2O molecules weight 36 grams. Given is the mass of H2O molecule = 36 grams. Now find the Molar mass of H2O in the following steps below: The H2O molecule has two Hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen atom. For finding the molar mass of one H2O molecule look for the atomic masses of Hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen atom weighs 1.00794 amu and Oxygen weighs 15.9994 amu. Molar Mass of H2O = [2(1.00794) + (15.9994)] g/mol = [2.01588 + 15.9994] g/mol = 18.01528 g/mol. = 18.0 (On approximation.)
